Prescription refills

If your child needs a refill of a medication prescribed by a provider at Novant Health Child & Adolescent Medical Group, contact your pharmacy when you have a least a three-day supply of the medication remaining. This will give your pharmacist time to refill your child's prescription or to call our office if permission is needed. 

Certain medications require a hard copy of the prescription be brought to your pharmacy in order to have it filled. If your child's medication has this requirement, you will be told when it is originally prescribed, and it will be your responsibility to pick up that prescription from our office to bring to your pharmacy.

Our office does not handle prescription refills after office hours or on weekends.
