Dr. Pridemore is a native of Tennille, Georgia. She is a 1990 graduate of Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law where she served as editor in chief of the Mercer Law Review her last year. After practicing law for four years, she changed career paths to pursue medicine, following in her father's footsteps. She graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine in 1998 where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society. She then moved to Charlotte to attend the pediatric residency program at Carolinas Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident her last year of training. She has been a pediatrician with Novant Health Elizabeth Pediatrics since 2001. Dr. Pridemore is passionate about helping children establish healthy sleep, nutrition and exercise habits. She is a member of Myers Park Baptist Church, where she volunteers in the children's program. She enjoys spending time with her husband Scott and their children, reading about plant-based nutrition, cooking, practicing yoga and attending spin classes.
